Day 1
Morning
Arrive in Dharamshala: Check-in at the campsite or accommodation and freshen up. Orientation session about the trip, safety guidelines, team assignments and introduction to survival skills.
Afternoon
Hiking and Outdoor Navigation: A guided hike to familiarize students with the terrain and basic navigation skills using maps and compasses.
Evening
Visit the Dalai Lama Temple and explore the local markets.
Camping Setup: Learn how to set up tents and basic camping etiquette.
Team Building Games: Ice-breaking activities to build camaraderie. Enjoy a traditional Himachali dinner.
Day 2
Morning
Trek to Triund Hill. Learn about the flora and fauna of the region. Fire Starting Techniques: Learn various methods to start a fire using natural materials.
Shelter Building: Construct different types of shelters using available resources.
Afternoon
Survival skills workshop: Navigation using natural keys and basic map.
Rappelling and Climbing: Basic training in rappelling and rock climbing under expert supervision.
Evening
Campfire: Preparing logs and starting fire. Group discussion about the day’s activities.
Day 3
Morning
Travel to McLeod Ganj. Check-in at the campsite.
Disaster Response and Emergency Preparedness: Training on how to respond to natural disasters and emergencies, including first aid.
Firing: Practice rifle-shooting with the guidence of our trainers.
Afternoon
Cultural Immersion: Explore the Bhagsu Waterfall. Participate in a team-building activity. interact with the community to learn about their culture and traditions.
Evening
Attend a cultural program showcasing local traditions. Campfire and storytelling session.
Day 4
Morning
Unarmed Combat Workshop: Basic self-defense techniques and unarmed combat skills.
Firing: Session continues, to practice more.
Afternoon
Visit the Kangra Fort and learn about its historical significance. Desert survival skills workshop, including water sourcing and desert navigation
Evening
Zip Lining: Experience the thrill of zip lining in a safe environment.
Day 5
Morning
Jungle Safari: Explore the local flora and fauna with a guided jungle safari. Early morning trek to the nearby hills. Practice survival skills learned during the trip.
Afternoon
Shelter Building: Advanced shelter-building techniques and practice.
Evening
Wrap-Up and Reflection: Group discussion on the experiences and learnings from the trip, followed by a closing ceremony. Departure from Dharamshala.
